As vinhas | the vineyards

Em 2009 iniciou-se uma profunda reestruturação das vinhas da Quinta de Santiago, tendo como objetivos primordiais a produção da monocasta Alvarinho e a utilização de sistemas de plantação e condução que permitissem um melhor desenvolvimento vegetativo;
As novas vinhas foram plantadas em áreas claramente definidas, rompendo com a tradição de misturar diferentes castas na mesma parcela;
A homogeneização dos tempos de tratamento, maturação e apanha, a melhoria da eficácia dos processos foi possível uma produção de qualidade muito constante e controlável, e economicamente eficaz;
 Os 6 hectares de vinhedo  tem idades entre os 3 e 8 anos;

 As suas vinhas obtiveram em 2011 o “prémio boas vinhas “  medalha de bronze  e em 2013 o " prémio boas vinhas " medalha de prata.
